10:30 pm: went to bed after working on a test for per 4, Monday
2:30am- woke b/c Mal cried out in her sleep, soothed her, pee, tried to sleep again myself, lay there, lay there, lay there
3:30am- still awake and begin wondering where my Othello "teacher" copy is, go in search of it in laundry/junk/toy/office room
3:45am- book found, pee, and try to sleep again
4:15am- still awake, wide awake, but crazy tired, toss, turn, go check email
4:45am- bac to bed, only an hour and 15 minutes before alarm will go off
5:15am- still awake, so decide to set the alarm 1/2 hour later and hope for the best
5:45am- still awake
6:20:must have actually fallen asleep for 1/2 and hour b/c I wake to the sound of a car out on the street.
6:45am- ready and wake Malia 15 minutes later than usual
7:15 am- both ready and Mal fed, Beast fed, out the door
7:20- coffeeeeeeee!
7:40: drop Mal off at pre-school
7:45: arrive at work, do all the "stuff" to get ready
8:20 am: 1st class
9:50 am: prep period: Glee work, bbs 100 people, rework the Othello test, write up the character development posters and scripts for per 3, find Romeo and Juliet video for another teacher
11:11: lunch duty (drinking a juice and eating handful of raw nuts), get after kids who are walking away from their garbage, listen to a kid's concerns, get another kid granola bars b/c she has no lunch
11: 35: respond to bbses, write up improv scenarios
11:50: per 3- it's a split level drama, so am "on" all 76 minutes
1:09: per 4- Othello test (oral today so i am talking for 30 minutes non-stop), classroom drama (teenage boy with HUGE issues today- argh), mark test, run out of time
2:30: write up report on teenage boy drama , Glee kids coming in, everybody needs me for this or that
2:45 Glee rehearsal: walk to remember into Two is better than one (ugh- they have forgotten 1/2 what I choreographed last week)
3:30 Glee Taylor swift rehearsal
4:15: Glee Wicked rehearsal
4:30: Glee Two is better than one, recap
5pm: call pre-school- tell them I will be late
5:05 :finish writing report on teenage boy drama,"
5:35 hit "send
5:40: pick up Malia (who is crazy happy to see me :)
5:50: gorcery shop
6:20 start dinner (oven potato casserole topped with cheese, corn on the cob, oatmeal cookie- made yesterday, so just heated)
6: 50 chat with former student on FB (important)
7:00 get Mal ready for bed
7:45 pm- internet stuff (nothing I need to be doing)
8:15 pm: start this blog post
9pm: hit "send"
As you can see- NO break in 18 hours. I am on the same schedule from 6am to 5:15 EVERY day this week, plus added lunch rehearsal, too...
(and if I do not pass out before then, will wash dishes, get things ready for school tomorrow and then get myself washed up for bed, too!! Please, God, sleep?? Thanks)

oh man. that's rough. i feel ya..we teachers work waaaaaay to hard. it's too much, especially on no sleep. hope you get a good night's sleep tonight. i'm heading to bed now myself. (it's 9:15) hope i don't get awakened by the wee one.

I am tired just reading about that schedule. Thank goodness the weekend is around the corner. Hope you get a bit of a break.
